Assistant Plant Controller

Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Plant Controller to join our team. The Assistant Plant Controller will assist in overseeing all financial activities at the plant, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Duties:

– Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.

– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards.

– Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support plant operations.

– Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.

– Implement and monitor internal controls in line with SOX regulations.

– Collaborate with the finance team to streamline payroll processes.

– Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

– Oversee inventory management and costing processes.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

– Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.

– Strong understanding of financial concepts and budgeting principles.

– Knowledge of account reconciliation procedures and accounts receivable processes.

– Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
